Meet the coaches at the Mingo K of C
MINGO JUNCTION -- Area fans will have the opportunity to meet two new high school football coaches Thursday at the Mingo Knights of Columbus.
Gregory Bahen from Catholic Central High School and Hayden Daley from Buckeye Local High School will be on hand for the event, which will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m., organizers said.
The evening will include refreshments and a 50-50 drawing.
East Springfield dinner Thursday
EAST SPRINGFIELD -- The East Springfield Community Center will host its monthly fundraiser dinner from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday
The menu will be pork roast, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, dessert and a drink for $12.
Patrons can dine in or get carryout by calling (740) 543-3700.
The center is located on county Road 39 net to the East Springfield Fire Department.
SCS retirees to meet
STEUBENVILLE -- Retirees from Steubenville City Schools met for lunch July 9 at Tucker’s Tavern Bar and Grill in Toronto.
The next lunch will be at 12;30 p.m. Thursday at Capraro’s Restaurant& Lounge in Hopedale.
