WELLSBURG - Area residents can get dinner and help support a local civic organization and their community projects all at one time.
The Wellsburg Kiwanis Club’s annual Famous Chicken BBQ is set for Thursday at the Wellsburg United Methodist Church.
"We’ve been doing it since the 1950s," club President Eric Fithyan said.
Chicken dinners may be purchased at $15 each, and will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until sold out.
Dinners include a half chicken, baked potato, roll, and a cookie, prepared by Jim DiMundo, and are available both for dine-in and take-out. Business delivery also is available.
All proceeds benefit the Wellsburg Kiwanis Club.
