LISBON -- The Town and Country Ladies Golf League held an away match at Beaver Meadows Colf Course on Aug. 27. The winning foursome was Kathy Antinone, Abbey Wilson, Linda Staffilino and Shirley Guida. Coming in second were Jennie Epifano, Vicki Brozka, Diane Vandine, and Toni Dondzila.
The longest drive winners on the fourth hole were: Epifano, A-flight; Vandine, B-flight, and Michele Purviance, C-flight.
The longest drive winners on No. 9 were: Antinone, A-flight; Vandine, B-flight; and Nancy Lellie, C-flight.
Monday Night Ladies League
HOOKSTOWN, Pa. -- The women of the Monday Night Ladies League played the front nine at Ponderosa Golf Course.
The play of the day was Throw out your worst two holes. Top finishers of the evening were Yuko Atwell, first place; Veronica Foldi, second place; and Laura Froehlich, third place.
Tammy Koutsky won the prize for long drive on No. 3. Erin Ankrum won the prize for closest to the pin on second shot on No. 9. Atwell won the prize for low putts.
