The Ladies Philoptochos Society of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Weirton, is having its preorder/prepay Holiday Bake Sale. The pastries include baklava, finikia, honey cake, walnut cake, powdered sugar cookies, and twist cookies. This year, galatobouriko (custard triangles) will be sold in orders of 12, frozen, with baking instructions and a container of syrup. The orders will be taken from through Nov. 6, either online at shop.allstswv.org or by phone at 304-797-9884. Orders will be available for pick-up at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 3528 West St., Weirton, on Nov. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Memorial Hall. Proceeds from the sale will fund donations to local charities. Last year, the All Saints Philoptochos of Weirton donated more than $8,000 to local organizations. Bake sale purchases help the organization to continue its philanthropic mission of helping others.
