Weir High School will celebrate its homecoming festivities today, with a homecoming parade on part of Main Street from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., as well as the crowning of its king and queen. The king will be randomly chosen during a pep rally in front of the student body, with the queen selected, through the selection of a red rose, during halftime of tonight’s football game against Cambridge. This year’s homecoming court includes, in front from left, Nick DiMatteis, Landon Donaldson, Airick Easterday, Andre Diaz-Tournay, and Landon Haught; second row, Myleigh Clevenger, Kaydence Cain, Lana Sauer, Bella Weber, and Mila White; third row Alivia Raveaux, Takayla Jones, Adrienne Clausell, Lexi Shuble, Chloe Burkhart, and Lea Young; and fourth row Donovan Brown, Aleks Zanieski, Ashton Hans, Josh DeFelice, Guy Meneely, and Tyrek Petteway.
