Toronto beautification group seeks support for U.S. flag fund

TORONTO — The volunteer members of the Toronto Beautification Committee take pride in making the Gem City look nice. They work at various times of the year to plant flowers and groom shrubs at various sites throughout the city including the north and south entrances, the gazebo area and Liberty square as well as several other areas. Work of local artist picked for Ohio exhibition

FINDLAY — A painting from a local artist will be a part of the 49th-annual Juried Ohio Watercolor Exhibition. Gina Judy's watermedia work, "Plein-Air Artists on Gilfillan Lawn," a 26-inch-by-34-inch painting, has been accepted into the exhibit, which will run from Sept. 26 through Oct. 23 at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in Findlay.
