Sycamore to offer fishing class STEUBENVILLE — The Sycamore Youth Center is expanding its after-school offerings with a hands-on youth fishing program designed to teach outdoor skills, environmental stewardship and life lessons to local students. The program, led by Kwame Jones, will be offered free of charge from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Thursdays at the Sycamore Youth Center, located at 301 N. Public library to host venue during America 250’s Ohio Goes to the Movies

STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced it has been selected to serve as an official host venue during the Ohio Goes to the Movies signature event as part of America 250-Ohio. The library system presented its first of several events this year on Thursday at the Adena Library branch, joining communities in all 88 counties in celebrating Ohio’s impact on film. Center to hold spaghetti dinner BLOOMINGDALE — The Wayne Township Community Center will hold a spaghetti and meatball fundraising dinner from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the center, located at 3281 county Road 39 in Bloomingdale.
