Fighting: Three deputies and two state troopers responded to a call of a large fight starting in a club in Island Creek township, Tuesday. A knife was confiscated from one man, another had a handgun with a valid conceal carry permit. A woman, who authorities said was highly intoxicated, claimed the man with the knife started giving her a difficult time, chest bumping her and pushing her before pulling the knife on her. Her boyfriend suggested they were targeted because he supports a rival motorcycle gang. The man with the knife told deputies he'd stopped in to see other club members and hadn't had anything to drink, and when he tried to leave the woman blocked his way "yelling wild accusations, including calling him a pedophile." The man also said the knife was in open view, so there was no brandishing, and claimed the incident was triggered after his motorcycle club had turned the woman's boyfriend down. No one was willing to press charges.
