Falling down: Deputies said a "heavily intoxicated" man was found on the ground at the entrance to a trailer park in Richmond with abrasions to his face and no recollection of how they got there, Monday. The man had been reportedly drinking with several other people, and when leaving, others said he fell down some steps and smacked his face on the concrete.
Skip the pleasantries: Callers reported a man who appeared to be intoxicated yelling and wanting to fight with a man smoking outside a Paul Avenue residence, Sunday. The homeowner said the man knocked on the door and refused to leave until deputies were on their way. The man, located lying on the ground at Ridgewood Apartments, said he'd been drinking moonshine and didn't remember knocking on anyone's door, but he denied making slurs.
Left behind: A Wintersville man left his rifle at a firing range, Sunday. The man said he was shooting with a couple friends and inadvertently left the Mossberg Patriot rifle behind when he left. He said there were five individuals he'd never seen before at the shooting range.
Tight spot: A vehicle was found partially on the railroad tracks along state Route 7 south of state Route 151, abandoned with hazard lights on and in drive, Sunday. The owner was located and told deputies she'd given some people a ride to a club and was trying to follow their directions home when she got lost, getting her vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks.

Disagreement: A Lovers Lane resident told police he's being harassed by another man on Facebook, Sunday.
Grabbed: A woman told police a man dragged her into a residence in the 300 block of South Fifth Street against her will, Sunday. She said the man wouldn't let her leave and at one point tried to remove her clothing, but she was able to get away from him and fled the residence on foot. The man said she came to his residence in hysterics and told him she'd been assaulted by her boyfriend. Another man who was in the residence said he heard a disturbance but was in another room and didn't see anything.
Trying to fight: A Kendall Avenue resident said her neighbor was banging on her door, trying to fight, Sunday. Police said the neighbor appeared to be "highly intoxicated," and the caller told police her son jumps around the apartment sometimes and it appears to upset the neighbor.
Disturbance: Callers reported a disturbance involving two women in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue, Sunday. The women each accused the other of throwing pop and spilling chips throughout the residence.
Arrested: Chantal Thornton, 61, 751 Brady Ave., Steubenville, petit theft and falsification, Friday. Thornton allegedly tried to leave Walmart with 10 items without paying for them, Friday. The items were valued at nearly $170.
Arrested: Aaron Cottrill, 29, Follansbee, possession of drugs warrant (walk-in), Friday.

Amy M. Bartholomew, 38, 507 Lincoln Blvd., Steubenville, driving under suspension and her mother, Cheryl A. Bartholomew, 65, also of 507 Lincoln, wrongful entrustment.
