Injured: A motorcyclist was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after an accident on Sunset Boulevard near Hollywood Boulevard, Tuesday, police reported. Police said the rider was laying in a nearby yard being treated by Wintersville EMS when they arrived on scene. Three witnesses each related a different version of what happened, with one woman saying a black sedan driven by a female made a left turn on red from North Hollywood Boulevard caused the crash. Another said the motorcyclist tried to pass a vehicle using the curb lane, lost control and crashed. A third said he was eastbound on Sunset boulevard when he lost control of his motorcyle, telling police she didn't think another vehicle was involved. The motorcyclist told police someone made a left turn on green at the intersection but did not yield, causing him to hit the curb and crash.
Problems: A man in the 1300 block of Orchard Street told police Monday a man he's had problems with in the past "told him to go look at what he had done to his car." The other man used black spray paint to deface the vehicle, and also painted his initials on the hood, police said.
Noted: An individual who matched the description of a person of interest in an aggravated burglary in the 3000 block of Homewood Avenue was brought in for questioning Monday, police reported. No other details were available.
Booked: Jaylin L. Smith, 24, 133 McDowell Ave., Steubenville, was taken into custody Monday on charges of possessing a controlled substance and obstruction after allegedly striking a parked car at Belleview Boulevard and Euclid Avenue. Police said Smith allegedly told the owner he needed to go get some information from a residence a couple streets over and was walking there, with her boyfriend, but when he saw the cruiser he took off running. They said when he was located behind a parked car, he was out of breath but denied being in an accident. The man who owned the parked car claimed Smith had told him he needed a ride because he'd been in an accident. Police allege Smith had two clonazepam tablets in his pocket when he was taken into custody. He also was cited for driving under supension, leaving the scene and failure to control.
Admission: The driver of the vehicle that hit a fence and a house in the 100 block of Langley Avenue earlier in the week turned himself in Tuesday, police said. Tison Johnson, 23, 205 Muskingum St., Cadiz, was cited for failing to file an accident report and failure to control, court records indicate. Johnson told police he was scared so he left.
Disruption: A patient who'd been discharged from the hospital Monday was disrupting services and threatening the staff at Trinity West, who asked police to ensure he left the property. The man's girlfriend arrived on scene and took him home, they said.
Gone: A man in the1300 block of Oregon Avenue told police he had $450 in his pocket when he fell asleep Tuesday, but when he woke up his money and a friend who'd been hanging out with him were both gone.
Flat: An individual who uses a lot in Brady Circle West told police Tuesday he's had five flat tires over the past five months, and this time noticed the air stem cap had been removed from a rear tire.
Avoid it: A man walking in the 100 block of South Eighth Street with his girlfriend said a man approached him Tuesday, yelling and wanting to fight. He said he had history with the other man and wanted to avoid further problems.
Help wanted: A Weirton man flagged an officer down to help him look for his car. He said his ex-girlfriend had the vehicle and he wanted it back.
Health issues: A man lying face down in the street, not breathing, required four doses of Narcan before he revived, police said. They said the man told them he'd snorted some type of white powder. Also Tuesday, police said a woman found in an upstairs bedroom in a Woodlawn Road residence, unresponsive, needed six doses of Narcan to be resuscitated. Her male companion told police he had no idea what she might have taken.

Ticketed: Michael P. Chapman, 69, 615 Ross St., Steubenvllle, and Robert T. Hess, 62, no fixed address, were each issued a misdemeanor citation for an open container.
Charged: Sarah R. Taylor, 44, 405 Second St., Amsterdam, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass Tuesday. Police found her in a vacant residence in the 700 block of Kendall Avenue, and said the owner told them she'd previously advised Taylor and a male companion that they were not allowed in the residence and she would not rent it out due to its unliveable condition.
Damages: A woman in the 900 block of North Sixth Avenue said juveniles vandalized her car Tuesday.

Upset: A Tiltonsville resident having work done on his car at a garage in that community, Tuesday, said a woman came out her back door and started yelling at him, saying she was going to kill him as well as the owner of the garage. The man said she screamed obscenities and threatened to shoot them both. The owner of the garage told deputies she'd done the same things a few days earlier and he'd filed a report with Tiltonsville police. Deputies said the woman's car was parked in front of her residence but she wouldn't come to the door. The caller told deputies he wants to pursue charges.
Argument A Tiltonsville man said a woman was causing a disturbance at his residence Tuesday. The woman told deputies she'd tried to help him find his kids but when she went to pick them up he stomped on her hand, which hurt because he's a big man, then grabbed her by the neck and threw her against a wall. The man said they were arguing over her taking his car without permission or having a license and said he's also missing his Suboxone from a recently filled prescription. He said she injured her hand while searching for the keys.
Complaint: A man kicked the front door to a residence in the Richmond area, Tuesday, went inside and then left. The complaint was called in by the father of the woman living in the residence, but when they talked to her she refused to identify him or file charges.
Problems: A Mingo Junction woman's ex-boyfriend showed up at her residence Tuesday, causing problems. Another man who was there said the ex shoved her, then followed her back into the house and threatened to punch him if he called police. He told deputies he ran across the street, and the ex left in a silver truck. Deputies said they stopped the vehicle near Brilliant, and he admitted being at the house but denied having a physical confrontation. The woman refused to make a statement or press charges.
