Charged: Tavauntae J. Ware, 22, 1301 Belleview Blvd., domestic violence, Friday. A woman told police Ware made threats and broke things following an argument over his home's door being unlocked. Police said Ware admitted to breaking a table on the front porch but denied making threats.
Booked: Carrie Featherman, 32, 619 Grandview Ave., possession of drugs and probation violation, Friday.
Unwanted visitor: A local man told police a woman known to him was pounding on his door Friday and wouldn't leave. Police advised he could seek a protection order.
Theft: A computer tablet was taken from a truck parked in the 400 block of North Sixth Street Friday
Outpatient: A man in a hospital gown was seen walking near Rosemont Avenue and Sunset Boulevard at about 1 p.m. Friday. The man told police he had been discharged from the hospital and walking to a friend's home. Police gave him a ride there.
Overdose: Steubenville firefighters treated a man reportedly overdosing at a North Sixth Street residence Friday. He was transported to the hospital.
Chase reported: A woman told police she and another woman were walking along Pittsburgh Street late Friday night when two men pulled up in a vehicle, brandishing a firearm. The woman said the two fled on foot before getting into another man's vehicle on Pennsylvania Avenue. The man told police the two women's pursuers followed him until he was forced to stop because his tires had been slashed. The man said their pursuers ordered them from the vehicle and the two women fled. Police said they checked the entire hilltop area but didn't find the vehicle the women described.

Fire starter: A Knox Township resident found a piece of cardboard and several cigarette butts on the ground near a round bale of hay that was smoldering, Saturday. He said whoever did it lit it on fire overnight.
Surprise: A Toronto man who keeps cash in his work vehicle and left it unlocked discovered the money missing, Friday. He said he's out $200.
Grumpy: Neighbors were concerned that they heard what they thought sounded like a gunshot coming from a Tiltonsville residence, saw lights left on and vehicles not moving and asked deputies to check the residence, Saturday. Deputies said the grass hadn't been cut in some time and there was mail in the box. When the resident finally answered the door, he demanded to know why the officer was there and when he found out, advised he had just returned from work and was fine, then slammed the door shut before the deputy could ask any other questions.
Intrusion: A Dillonvale woman reported the theft of six sports jerseys and damage to two doors, Friday. She said her son admitted he and his friends were responsible for the damage to the doors, and told deputies she thinks a man who had been staying at the property pawned her jerseys. She said she's going to seek an order of eviction against him.
