Agresta, 32, 200 Fernwood Road, was booked into the county jail on charges of assault, domestic violence and aggravated burglary after his soon-to-be ex-wife reported he pushed his way into her home, shoving her down twice before her male companion stepped between them. The caller was parked in the middle of the roadway, claiming he couldn't back into his driveway “due to the neighbor's truck being in the way.” He said it was an ongoing issue and that his neighbor “is not being courteous when he parks,” but police noted the neighbor's truck was parked in front of his own garage, “on his own property and not obstructing the roadway,” and said it “would be unreasonable to say the caller did ...

STEUBENVILLE POLICE A Lawson Avenue man was charged with arson after an early morning fire Saturday gutted his home. Police said Brandon M. Carroll, 27, 435 Lawson Ave., was booked into the Jefferson County jail without bond.
