Jefferson Commissioners seek support for grant funds STEUBENVILLE—Jefferson County Commissioners are hoping for federal assistance to complete the funding circle for the County Road 36 bridge replacement and trail grade separation project. Police Beat Steubenville Waffling: Someone reported a disturbance in the mall parking lot “involving a firearm” Sunday, but the individuals involved told police no one had a gun. A female said four male juveniles who had accompanied her were in her car waiting for her and when she got there, “more individuals were banging on her car windows yelling at them.” Police searched the vehicle and did not locate any guns.
