Steubenville Police Friendly folks: Tenants living in a duplex in the 700 block of Kendall Avenue blamed each other for causing another dispute, Tuesday. The upstairs tenant complained to police that her mother and aunt had come to visit but the downstairs tenant “verbally accosted” them “about shoveling snow into a neighbor’s parking spot and voiced contempt for (them) parking their vehicle in front of the residence,” triggering an argument. Steubenville police S’no angel: A city resident told police he “was involved in a confrontation” with a man clearing snow from a gas station, Monday. He said the man had been pushing the snow into the street and he tried “to go up and over it and got his vehicle stuck.” He said when he got his phone out to record the incident the other man “smacked the phone out of his hand.” The man clearing the snow said the caller “became angry and was yelling at him” and when he “got in his face” with the phone he slapped it out of the caller’s hand. Steubenville Police Bad break up: A city resident ended up in custody after a disturbance at his home, Saturday. Police report Lawrence Taylor, 38, 1237 Oak Grove Ave., was booked into the Jefferson County jail on a domestic violence charge. Taylor had told police they’d argued and insisted it never devolved into a physical altercation. His ex-wife said she’d been living out of state since they separated more than five months ago but she “comes in a few days every week so they can try to work things out,” but that day she’d only been there a few hours when they started ...
