Steubenville Police Higher power: A woman at a downtown business requested police assistance, Saturday. The woman said she was at the store “to go on a free shopping spree that was broadcast by someone while looking at the sky.” When they asked her if she was OK she said she was, so police told her there was no free shopping spree. Steubenville Police Hooligans: A woman at a mall store wanted to fight after another woman checking out said something about her children behaving badly, Monday. The woman checking out said there was “a group of children acting wild,” with one of them “older and on a handicap scooter, driving it recklessly” and almost hitting her.
