Jefferson County Sheriff No place for kids: A Salem Township man claimed two women were holding his family hostage in his home and threatening them with physical violence, but when deputies arrived he said they’d argued and he just wanted them to leave. Deputies said both women appeared to be impaired, with one admitting she drank all night and had lived there for six months, the other denied being drunk and said she’d stayed there one night.
