STEUBENVILLE -- Steubenville Police are investigating a knife assault which occurred around 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Foster Place.
Police reported the victim, Christopher Travis, 20, of Weirton, was sliced with a knife across the abdomen.
Travis was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Police noted Travis was not cooperating with officers on who attacked him.
A suspect was seen leaving the area in a dark-colored vehicle, police reported.
