NEW CUMBERLAND — A portion of state Route 2 through New Cumberland will be closed for a slip repair, according to officials with the West Virginia Division of Highways.

The closure will occur from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. today through Sept. 27. Traffic will be maintained by temporary traffic signals during non-working hours.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour route. Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
