It was a packed house Tuesday at the Summit Art Gallery, as the Top of West Virginia Arts Council hosted the opening reception for the new Winter Celebration Student Art Exhibition. The exhibit includes works created by students and art teachers from Weir, Madonna, Brooke and Oak Glen high schools, as well as the John D. Rockefeller IV Career Center and featuring themes of the winter season or winter holidays. It will be on display through December. The Summit Art Gallery is located at 3393 Main St., Weirton. — Craig Howell
