Cloak & Dagger On the Air presents Christmas Show in New Cumberland

WEIRTON -- Cloak & Dagger On the Air will present an evening of Christmas stories and music at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Bell Tower Theater, 99 Market St. in New Cumberland.
Cloak & Dagger On the Air is an ongoing theatrical series that reimagines old time radio for the modern ear. Each production is performed in front of a studio audience, complete with live music and sound effects, and released on the Midnight Scario podcast.
Saturday's event will include three classic radio plays: "The Plot to Overthrow Christmas" by Norman Corwin, "Letter from Cynthia" by Edward Bloodworth and "The House of the World" by Nila Mack.
Beginning a little before 6:30, R.J. Gaudio, troubadour, will perform a set of traditional and original holiday songs. Desiree Adorable, the troupe's cabaret singer, will then flaunt her feminine form through some quirky and ornery Christmas classics.
"In our pursuit to create a home for the arts and other community events, we are very proud to welcome Cloak & Dagger to the Bell Tower Theater stage," said Jeff Sutko, owner and manager of Bell Tower,.
"This is the first time our troupe will perform at Bell Tower Theater, and we're excited to help Jeff bring attention to this new performance space," said Pete Fernbaugh, Cloak and Dagger's artistic director. "We have a highly entertaining evening in store for our audience. Each story is a bit different from your normal Christmas fare, but the message and spirit of the season is still intact."
The evening will feature C&D's in-house acting troupe, the Wayward Saints, featuring Rob DeSantis, Bethany Fernbaugh, David Gaudio, Robert Gaudio, Noah Hilton, Odessa Hores, Nancy Longo, Karissa Martin, Ralph Parissi and Micah Underwood. Classical pianist Roberta Fedoush will provide the score, and sound effects will be created by the Holy Foley Molies.
