Members of the Weir High School drumline march through the Advent Village in Fort Steuben Park Sunday. They were part of the drumline performance that has become a holiday tradition at the Nutcracker Village presentation. The event brought together percussionists from Indian Creek, Steubenville Catholic Central, Steubenville, Harrison, Oak Glen and Weir high schools to entertain hundreds of visitors at the attraction. Downtown streets will come alive this weekend when the TEAM Automotive Group Sights and Sounds of Christmas: Nutcracker Magic Parade travels down Fourth Street. The annual event is scheduled to begin at noon Saturday. The Advent Market will be open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. weekends through Dec. 29, with special hours of noon to 9 p.m. Saturday. — Linda Harris
