NEW CUMBERLAND -- A grand jury in Hancock County has indicted 12 individuals, including several on sex-related charges, according to county Prosecuting Attorney James Davis.
The grand jury met Tuesday, in an abbreviated session as part of the April 2020 term.
Among those indicted was David Sullivan, 32, Pine Lane, New Cumberland, who is facing a 516-count indictment, with charges including sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust to a child.
Michael Sayre, 43, of Lousiana Avenue, Chester, faces charges of sexual assault in the second degree; sexual assault in the third degree; sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust to a child; and incest.
Randy Lillie, 51, of 3rd Street in Chester, was indicted on two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree; and two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust to a child.
Troxel Groves, 48, of Cleveland, faces two counts of sexual assault in the third degree and two counts of incest.
Daniel Walsh, 36, of Orchard Street, Weirton, was indicted for distributing and exhibiting of materials depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Other indictments issued by the grand jury included:
– Norman Himmelrick, 51, Laurel Drive, Weirton, felony unlawful assault; domestic battery
– Samuel C. Moore, 27, South Chester Street, New Cumberland, grand larceny; driving while license suspended for DUI, second offense
– Robert Baxter, 40, no fixed address, two counts, failure to register as a sex offender, second offense
– Bud Hall Sr., 40, Grant Street, Weirton, domestic battery third offense
– Cameron Miller, 29, Quiet Acres, New Cumberland, house burglary; battery
– Steven Carman, 24, Lincoln Street, Newell, two counts child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury
– Robert Barrett, 35, West 9th Street, East Liverpool, strangulation; domestic battery; robbery; unlawful assault; perjury; conspiracy to commit perjury.
