Tri-State Medical Group recognized

WEIRTON -- Tri-State Medical Group recently was recognized as Franchisee of the Year during the Medicine Shoppe International Inc. virtual owners meeting.

The award honors the franchisee who provides outstanding services or contributions to the advancement of the pharmacy profession and who serves as a model for other franchisees to emulate.

"Receiving this award has been a great honor, and a truly humbling experience," stated owner J.J. Bernabei." I would like to thank our 80 team members for making this award achievable. Our team members' selfless dedication to providing tremendous service has enabled us to promote superior patient care."

As part of the award, Bernabei was awarded $5,000 to donate to a non-profit organization of his choice. Bernabei has opted to contribute the funds to the Weirton United Way and its 2020 campaign, which benefits 12 local member agencies.
