Hancock County to have COVID vaccine clinic

CHARLESTON — Fourteen COVID-19 vaccine clinics have been scheduled this week as part of the state’s Operation Save Our Wisdom, including one Friday in Hancock County.

The clinic will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, at the Weir High School gymnasium, and is available, by appointment, for Hancock and Brooke county residents age 70 and up. To make an appointment, Hancock County residents should call (304) 564-3343, and Brooke County residents should call (304) 737-3665.

The state has allocated approximately 6,300 doses of the vaccine to be divided among the 14 clinics.
