WEIRTON -- The Weirton Area Water Board will be performing its spring citywide water line flush this week.
Crews will begin at 8 a.m. each day, continuing until the assigned section is complete.
The flushing will be done on the following schedule:
• Monday, Downtown Weirton and Weir Avenue
• Tuesday, Kings Creek Bowl and Weircrest
• Wednesday, Marland Heights
• Thursday, Weirton Heights, west of Penco Road, to include North 12th Street, Kings Creek Road, Kingsview Addition, Greentree Road, Willow Street, Theresa Drive and Cove Valley Estates
• Friday, Weirton Heights, east of Penco Road, to include Culler Road, Country Club Estates, Woodlawn Estates, Angeline Estates and Bellaire Addition.
Some areas of the city may experience low pressure during the line flushing.
Customers in the general areas of flushing are advised to refrain from doing laundry on their respective days because of the possibility of iron causing yellow stains to clothing.
