WEIRTON – The Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced that tonight’s planned concert at the Weirton Event Center has been canceled out of concern for expected weather.
Weather forecasts have predicted the possibility of severe thunderstorms later today.
Hoard and Jones had been set to take the stage of the Weirton Event Center.
CVB officials said there will be efforts to reschedule the group for a later date.
