Three ice crosses, representing the Holy Trinity, lay on a table on the observation pier of the Steubenville Marina Sunday before being tossed into the water below as part of a blessing of the Ohio River attended by clergy and members of several Orthodox churches. The joint service was held in observance of the Feast of the Holy Theophany and in remembrance of Jesus Christ's baptism in the Jordan River. Leading it were: the Rev. Michael Ziebarth of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life-Giving Fountain of Martins Ferry, the Rev. John Kopcha of St. Andrew's Orthodox Church of Mingo Junction, the Rev. Frank Milanese of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church of Weirton and the Rev. Demetrios Tskikouris of St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church of Wheeling.
