WEIRTON – A boil order is being issued by the Weirton Area Water Board for customers near 1300 Potomac Avenue, as well as the portion of Cove Road between Potomac Avenue and Three Springs Drive.
According to officials, a repair to a water line has been performed on Potomac Avenue, resulting in the boil order which also affects anyone experiencing low or no water pressure in the area.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice.
