WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board has issued a boil order for customers on Powers Road, Victor Street and Jameson Street following work on a water line in the area.
Crews completed a repair to a water line on Powers Road at 2 p.m. today, according to a notice from the City of Weirton. As a result of the repair, which included draining of the line, a boil order has been issued for the affected area. Customers in the area are advised to boil water, or use bottled water, until further notice.
