WEIRTON – The boil order put in place for Weir Avenue Wednesday has been lifted, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.

The order, issued following a water line break in the area Wednesday afternoon, was lifted effective 8:50 a.m. today.

Water customers in the affected areas may resume using water without any restrictions or requirement to boil their water.
