WEIRTON – Weir Avenue, from Lee Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue, is under a boil order following work on a water line today.
All water customers in the affected area, as well as anyone nearby experiencing low or no water pressure, are advised to boil water before use, or use bottled water. This includes for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing and food preparation.
The work was the result of a water line break on Weir Avenue this afternoon.
