Ed Wedgewood was sworn in as Chester’s new mayor Friday by Municipal Court Judge Curt Parkins, along with other city officials following the recent election. Also taking the oath of office were City Clerk Courtney Sanlo, First Ward Councilman Nathan Wright, Second Ward Councilman John Woodruff, Third Ward Councilman Mike Dotson, Fourth Ward Councilman Jason Thorn and Fifth Ward Councilman Steve Shuman. — Liz Lehman
