WEIRTON – Gov. Jim Justice, along with Babydog and state Secretary of Revenue Dave Hardy, will be in Follansbee Tuesday to meet with residents as part of his ongoing “Community Conversation on Amendment 2” tour.

The event will take place at 2 p.m. at the Brooke County Commission on Aging, 948 Main Street, Follansbee.

The governor has been touring West Virginia in recent weeks, discussing his opposition to Amendment 2, the Property Tax Modernization Amendment, which will appear on the Nov. 8 ballot. Justice, instead, has been proposing his own tax reduction plan, called the Car and All Vehicle Tax Elimination and Protection of Local Government Act.

A stop also will be held in Moundsville earlier in the day.
