WEIRTON - A two-vehicle crash Tuesday night led to one individual being flown to Pittsburgh for medical treatment and another facing several DUI-related charges.
According to Weirton Police, officers responded to a call of a two-vehicle crash at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Main Street and Freedom Way.
Matthew Lee Edwards, 35, no address provided, was arrested and charged with felony third offense DUI, driving while suspended for DUI, DUI with serious bodily injury and no proof of insurance.
The other driver, Christopher Cowger, was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
