UPDATE: 9:53 a.m. – The City of Weirton announces phone and internet service to the city’s Public Works Department has been restored.
WEIRTON – The City of Weirton’s Public Works Department currently is without phone or internet services, according to information provided by the city this morning.
Officials are working to have both services restored. Residents with an immediate concern for the department may contact the Mayor and City Manager’s Offices at (304) 797-8500, ext 1002 or ext 1003 for the time being.
