WMC Cardiology among top in nation and state

WEIRTON -- Weirton Medical Center has been recognized as a Top 100 hospital in the United States and the best in West Virginia for heart care.
WMC Cardiology was named No. 1 in West Virginia for Cardiac Care and a Top 100 provider of Interventional Coronary Care in the U.S. by CareChex Awards for Medical Excellence. The 2023 quality awards are based on a comprehensive quality scoring system, that compares inpatient quality performance across general, acute and non-federal U.S. hospitals.
