The Kiwanis Club of Weirton recently donated $500 to the Weirton Board of Parks and Recreation for its Easter egg hunt held on April 8. Weirton Kiwanis Club board member Gus Monezis, right, presented the donation to Chris Krishak, city of Weirton Board of Parks and Recreation program director. "Through its fundraising efforts, the Kiwanis Club of Weirton continues to fulfill its motto 'Serve the Children of the World' and more importantly, serving the children of our community," a club spokesperson said.
