Boil order issued for area around South 11th Street in Weirton

WEIRTON – The Weirton Area Water Board is issuing a boil order following work on a line on South 11th Street.

The order is in effect for all customers on South 11th Street and South 13th Street, as well as their intersections with Pennsylvania Avenue, all of Terrace Heights to the Weir High and Weir Middle campus, all of Bell Boulevard Addition and any other customers in the area experiencing low or no water pressure.

As a result of the work, Weir High and Weir Middle dismissed at 10:30 a.m. today.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice.
