SVRTA board to meet
STEUBENVILLE -- The Steel Valley Regional Transit Authority will hold its regular board meeting 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Robert J. Cutri, Modal Center.
Traffic to be restricted on U.S. Route 22
WEIRTON - Portions of the eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. Route 22 will have left-lane closures for median wall maintenance beginning Monday, according to the West Virginia Division of Highways.
Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Friday, in an area from Milepost 3.02 to Milepost 3.17.
Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays in the area. Inclement weather or other circumstances could change the project schedule.
Paving to begin in Hooverson Heights Monday
FOLLANSBEE - The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced traffic will be restricted to one lane on several streets as part of an ongoing paving project in the county.
Traffic will be restricted from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Monday and lasting through Friday on Heckman/Elaine Avenue, Irwin Avenue, May Road, Wilmar Avenue, Wildwood Drive, Country Road, Lower Spruce, Wildflower Way, Lancaster Lane and Poplar Lane.
Emergency vehicles and school buses will be accommodated. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
