A new Interact Club has been formed at Weirton Madonna High School as a result of the efforts of teacher Lauren Schuller, who saw a need for a service organization for the school's seventh- and eighth-grade students. In recent months, Schuler has been working with Brandon Palmeri, president of the Rotary Club of Weirton Heights, to get the club organized, and, last week, Palmeri, along with club Vice President Melissa Veltri and member Anthony Bernardi presented the new club with its certificate of organization. The school also has an Interact for its ninth through 12th graders. — Contributed
