More than 250 runners and walkers participated, Dec. 2, in Allison Elementary School's Parent Teacher Organization's inaugural Jingle Bell Jog 5K to kick off activities for the daylong Chester Hometown Celebration, which culminated with the holiday parade. Konnor Allison won the event in 16:39.45 with Nick Gallo finishing in 17:29.90 and Travis Simpson coming in third at 18:23.41. The Top Dog to win the Bark Box by crossing first for pooches was River Mae, owned by Mandy Kosek, and Martha Elder won Most Festive by walking the 5K dressed like a reindeer. — Stephanie Ujhelyi
