As part of the Dec. 18 meeting of the Hancock County Board of Education, officials celebrated the recent announcement the school district will receive more than $978,000 from the West Virginia School Building Authority to assist with a structural reinforcement project at Oak Glen Middle School. Officials previously announced the need for the renovations after pyrite expansion on the property lifted a portion of the building's foundation.
