A full staff
Three new members of the Wellsburg Police Department were administered oaths on Monday, bringing its staff back to five members in addition to City Police Chief Mike Allman. The additions are Patrolman Rick Reinard, a former Follansbee officer joining the department full-time; Kaylin Ferguson, a Brooke County sheriff’s deputy who will serve Wellsburg part time; and Dan Casto, a former Wellsburg officer who since last fall has been employed as a Brooke County Schools as a resource officer and who will serve Wellsburg and Follansbee part time.
