WEIRTON -- The Weirton Area Water Board will begin installation of a new water main in a portion of Marland Heights next week.
Crews from James White Construction will be on hand beginning Monday to begin installation of the water main on Morgan Drive, from State Street to Rothrock Avenue.
To assist with the project, Water Board officials are requesting all vehicles be off the street between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. for the duration of the work. Vehicles left on the street will be towed at the owner's expense.
Officials note work will begin at the intersection of State Street and Morgan Drive, continuing to the intersection of Rothrock Avenue and Morgan Drive.
Residents will have access to their driveways when possible, officials said.
In addition, residents may experience temporary water outages or water discoloration during the project.
