Close to 90 juniors from area high schools participated Thursday in the Dr. Barbara A. Matey High School Business Symposium. Organized by the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce with support from West Virginia Northern Community College and other area businesses, the annual event provides a full-day workshop featuring discussions on budgeting, marketing and product development, as well as tips on completing a resume and job application and taking part in a job interview. — Craig Howell
