In observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month, officials with the City of Weirton on Thursday placed blue pinwheels in front of the Weirton Municipal Building. In addition, City Manager Mike Adams presented certificates of appreciation to representatives of A Child's Placa CASA and CHANGE Inc. Comfort House in recognition of their work with local victims of child abuse and neglect.
