County Road 7 closure set
STEUBENVILLE -- Jefferson County Road 7 (Dillonvale-Longrun Road) will be closed to all traffic from Newtown to state Route 150 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, according to the Jefferson County Engineer's Office.
Crews will be replacing culvert. There will be no through traffic.
Safety and resource fair set
WELLSBURG -- The Brooke County Family Resource Center will hold a safety and resource fair for families from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday outside the Bruin Bridge School (formerly Wellsburg Middle School).
Various groups will offer useful information to families, including mental health issues and services available for children with special needs. information. Through a donation from the Wellsburg Kiwanis Club and other support, drawings will be held for bicycles, helmets and other prizes.
Crews to patch Bethany road
BETHANY -- Crews will be patching Camp Run Road in the near future.
Drivers should be prepared for delays.
Summer breakfast, lunch available
STEUBENVILLE -- Steubenville City Schools will offer breakfast and lunch for children at no cost during the summer months.
From June 3 through Aug. 15, breakfast will be available at Harding Middle School from 7:40 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. Lunch will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon.
Steubenville High School will have lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 3-28.
