Pupils, parents and teachers from Weirton Elementary were splashed with color Friday as part of the school's fifth color run. Participants in the run took laps around the school property, crossing through a series of five stations where they could be covered with colored powder. The event included music provided by DJ Nin, face painting, snow cones and more. Proceeds from the run will benefit the "One Book, One School, One Community" project. — Craig Howell
