Boil order issued following work on Columbus Way line

WEIRTON – A boil order has been issued for multiple streets following repairs to a water line on Columbus Way earlier today.

The Weirton Area Water Board has issued the order for all customers on Columbus Way, McKinley Road, Charles Avenue, Cleveland Avenue and any other areas which have experienced low or no water pressure.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation until further notice.
