Boil order lifted in downtown area of Weirton
WEIRTON – The boil order issued early today for portions of downtown Weirton has been lifted, effective at 5:30 p.m. today, according to the Weirton Area Water Board.
The order was issued at approximately 3 a.m. following a water line repair, and included the 3200, 3300, and 3400 blocks of Orchard Street, West Street, and Elm Street and Purdy Lane, as well as other customers in the area who experienced low or no water pressure.
Those affected by the order may resume using water with no restrictions.
